An 8 metre long glass installation of Singapore Airline’s Batik Motif serving as the grand facade to the entrance to the SilverKris Lounges.
The Batik glass installation went through multiple iterations and reviews over 10 months. This included colour sampling of each of the 10 flowers of the Batik Motif,
accurate positioning of the branches for depth, lighting tests and colour proofing of the background wall to be accurate to Singapore Airline’s brand colours.
An 8 metre long curved display serving as the animated backdrop to the entrance foyer of the SilverKris Lounges.
The Batik Motif is separated into 4 distinct layers and animated to grow onto screen and sway in the wind as it moves across the display over a 4 minute seamless loop.
Peak and Off Peak versions were created. A full colour one plays during periods of peak footfall, and a more subdued night inspired version plays during periods of lower footfall and in the night for energy saving purposes.
The animation went through multiple iterations and on site reviews over 10 months to ensure the right scale, parallax motion, speed, accurate Batik Motif and brand colours calibration.
